Camp begins at 7:00PM Friday evenings and ends on Sunday afternoon at 2:00PM with a brief closing ceremony.
Attention Previous Campers and Staff:
If you haven't received an invitation to mini camp and would like to be included, call Sandy at the Share Foundation office and she'll be happy to send you one. We are also in need of camp counselors, cooks, and nurses - and we promise you a rewarding time full of life and joy. If you've never volunteered at camp before, now is the tiome to start! No previous experience is necessary - all you need is an open heart and the desire to help others.
Mini-camps are packed with great activities that encourage everyone to participate in a loving, accepting environment. Camp can include all or some of the following: games, campfires, crafts, discussion sessions, sing-alongs, hikes, great meals, delicious snacks, dances, treasure hunts, and more! We will also have a dance on each Saturday night of mini-camp, starting at 6:30PM and ending at 9:00PM. Mark Williamson will provide his professional DJ services and campers and visitors dance the night away with a snack in-between. This dance is open to anyone who would like to attend for the price of $2 per person at the door.

On Fat Tuesday, February 24th, 2009, the Marquette Council #3630 of the Griffith Knights of Columbus will hold their annual Spaghetti Dinner starting at 4 p.m. The feast takes place at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Broad Street in Griffith. You and your family are invited to enjoy a bountiful feast of spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad, garlic bread and homemade desserts. Drinks are provided and adult beverages will be available for purchase. There is no set charge for the meal. A donation box will be available and all proceeds will benefit Share Foundation.The Griffith Knights have been faithful in hosting this event each year to benefit Share Foundation so pleases how your support by joining us for a delicious dinner right before Lent begins on February 24th. |
